The Dark Triad… How do you rate on this trio of anti-social traits?

The Triad consists of:
Narcissism – Excessive self-adoration, obnoxious self-confidence, the individual truly believes they are superior to everybody else.
Machiavellianism – extreme manipulators, tactical, selfish, view people and life as a game.
Psychopathy - no empathy, no guilt and no remorse is felt, they lack the ability to feel fear.

A person with a strong dark triad personality can easily mingle in with the rest of us without causing suspicion. But they are a danger to other people, and themselves.

They have little or no guilt regarding their actions depending on the strength of the traits.

To others they appear to be at peace with even the most horrendous crimes they have committed. They are very skilled at hiding their negative behaviour and expert at manipulating others to get them to do what they want.

They do not care about changing themselves or their behaviours, and would never likely end up on a counsellors sofa asking for help.

Do you know someone who seems to have some of these characteristics?
